London Based Studio. Figurative Oil on Canvas and Botanical Acrylic Collections.

I create medium and large botanical and floral abstract paintings on canvas. My work is characterised by visible brush marks, vibrant energetic colour merging, and detailed accents created and reworked by applying over wet and dry paint, oil or acrylic with brush and acrylic pens. 

Each piece I create is an exploration of colour, form, and texture, inspired by the beauty and complexity of plants and flowers and the space between them.

My process is intuitive and organic, allowing the paint to flow and interact in ways that bring a sense of movement and life to the canvas. I embrace the spontaneity of splash marks and the deliberate precision of acrylic pen detailing, aiming to create a dynamic visual experience that feels both fresh and authentic.

I came to this subject not just through a love of wild flowers and a need to recreate and express how it feel when walking through fields of moving grasses but the freedom to enjoy the world we live in without guilt or fear. It has been a sanctuary and escape and I hope it transfers from paper and canvas to the viewer.
